New Year, New Intentions, New You!

Okay it’s the end of the second week of the month. How have we been keeping up with our new year’s resolution, promises or habits we made to ourselves? Its okay… it’s only been two weeks. Things take time as long as you have intention you are on to a great start.

Most of the time we put more pressure on ourselves that is needed. I myself do this all the time. This year I decided to just go with the flow and move with intention. I know I wanted more peace, happiness and joy, even love. I find when I move with intention things just flow at ease to me. I knew I had major goals to tackle this year and moving how I did in the past wasn’t going to knock out those goals. I had to set an intention for each goal. Health is one of major goals we seem to go to around the new year. We all wanna get more in shape especially after the holidays and before the summer. What is your intention? Wanna stop eating unhealthy? Do you wanna have more physical strength? Maybe your just overweight and need to lose a couple of pounds? Or maybe you just wanna live a healthier lifestyle so you can feel good. Whatever that intention is will bring you closer than making a new years resolution stating this what your going to do this year. We need to have that why to have that drive.

I knew this year organization was one of my goals especially with running a business all alone. I needed to be more organized to have things in my life run successful and smoothly. Peace requires organization. So my intention was to bring more peace in my life and I knew that started with organization for me. I created a morning routine and a night routine to start implementing these new changes in my life. I feel like anyone especially business owner needs a good morning and night routine. It’ll take time to get use to yes! After awhile it will naturally become your life routine.

Another thing is planning have a good planner or a few won’t hurt. Planning is required for organization. Knowing what you have going on keeps you on track. Keeps you focus towards those goals. Writing out those plans you have or things you even want to do for yourself. Just putting that down for example “This day I’m going to work out in the park for a hour”. You just set the intention for that day. So now when you open your planner and see on January 21 or whatever its says “Work Out at park for hour”. You may even feel lazy that day but that previous intention will have you jumping up out of the bed. Something inside you will push you towards that park. You’ll feel so much joy that you did and surely start moving with more intention.
